Kael'thas did indeed betray Illidan to pursue his own goals however, the players still took action to WOW WOTLK Classic Gold stop his schemes within the magically-infused territory of Netherstorm. Many of them are familiar faces like that of Maiev Shadowsong. Maiev was a night elf Warden who chased Illidan across the universe and finally got him in the right place by striking the killing blow at the summit of the Black Temple. Kael'thas, who somehow escaped his defeat in Netherstorm, had returned to his home in Quel'thalas towards the Sunwell blood elves sacred source of energy that was defiled through Arthas Menethil and the Scourge in Warcraft 3.
While the source of pure magic was closed, Kael'thas wanted to harness its remaining potential to summon most terrifying Burning Legion general Kil'jaeden the Deceiver. Kael'thas's mind and heart, twisted by an insatiable lust for power was the one who orchestrated the Deceiver's return which could bring ruin to Azeroth. Players fought their way through the hordes of demons, until they were able to eliminate Kil'jaeden from the scene for good. The result of this battle as a result, the Sunwell was then purified once more, and the blood elves who had suffered through so much finally found a little hope for cheap WOTLK Gold the future.
