This is the first time in madden 22 coins the Rivals era

Not only Nick Smith Jr.

Jump up to jump to. 4 overall, which was confirmed on Monday, but Jordan Walsh

The fifth star was awarded to him and he was promoted 12 spots to No. 19 of the Rivals rankings, which were released on Tuesday.

This is the first time in madden 22 coins the Rivals era, that dates back to 2002, that the Razorbacks have been able to sign multiple five-star prospects in one class. In reality, they signed only four five-star prospects in the previous 20 classes.

Walsh who is a student at Link Academy in Branson, Mo. He was named as a McDonald's All-American last month, alongside Smith. They may be the first duo of McDonald's All-Americans from the same school to play for the Razorbacks since Todd Day and Lee Mayberry in 1988.

Arkansas' three other signees have been pushed down the rankings however, each continued to be at the top of the Rivals150. Only Duke, who has the top spot in the. top overall prospect class, has signed the most Rivals150 prospective players (6) for 2022 than Razorbacks' five. (It's important to note that there are 16 players who aren't on the list.)

Magnolia's Derrian Ford

saw the largest drop of Arkansas players, dropping 19 spots from No. 77. However, he's one of the top four prospects.

Although he dropped four spots in the rankings to No. 129, Morrilton's Joe Pinion

He has regained his fourth star. Barry Dunning Jr.

The player, who plays for McGill-Toolen and plays with McGill-Toolen Mobile, Ala., is still a three-star prospect . has a ranking of No. 134, which is down three spots.

The 2022 rankings will be updated once more after the McDonald's All-American Game, which is scheduled for the 29th of March in Chicago. Assuming that each remains as a result, Arkansas will tie its record for the most Rivals150 recruits in one year, which is the same as the class of 2011 which also had five.

Every single high school student signed in the class of Eric Musselman have been Rivals150 prospects, as well. The total for three years is similar to the number of Rivals150 recruits Arkansas has had in its previous seven classes.

The garbage-talking bros from Madden

Andrew Belton makes a living playing Madden, a game that he has no particular love for.

When he uploads his video, he takes on "trash-talkers" who post angry Instagram messages, arguing with vibrant language that they should kick his ass in the game. Therefore, Belton spends his time fighting against randosand even the occasional pro athlete -- all while teasing and yelling them for his YouTube fans. This is what he does like: winning, especially when it's against those who are rude. He goads them into more risky plays and encourages players to take risks on fourth down , when the best option is to punt.

Watching Belton's channel, ABGotGame The only thing Belton roasts more than his opponents? Madden itself. The most frequent refrains are "This game is awful" and "this game is just awful." Throughout any video, Belton is cursing the game's creator, EA Sports, like it's some sort of demon. An errant throw? "EA!" Taking a bag? "EA! !" Missing an easy interception?

In January 2022, he shared a video titled "I've had this video never before...You will win EA...I'm not playing Madden again." ..." But a week afterwards, Belton posted another Madden video. If you'd been following his channel for a while, like I was, you'd have a sense that the man was not going to go away.

What's hilarious with Madden -- which happens to be the only NFL certified video gaming franchise, now 34 years going -- is that despite its massive popularity, you only hear about is complaints from people who are against it.

The biggest complaint, echoed time and time again, is that each year's updated version is a slight upgrade over the last. Since EA Sports has the exclusive license, it is the sole company that has the ability to develop a "simulation-style" NFL game. Thus springs an argument that EA Sports is under no pressure to meaningfully improve the game every year. In the year 2020, a massive Twitter campaign urged the league to sign EA as its official partner- #NFLDropEA. But despite the outrage from social media that also included coordinated review bombing of games' Metacritic website, Madden 21 sales were way up. The Madden 22 of this year Madden 22 did well, too, and the Madden series continues to be the best-selling ever in the history of sports.

The critics hail from the minority that is vocal, but the job of buy mut 22 coins a minority is to be extremely vocal. We're talking about YouTubers, who earn their living through stream and record themselves while playing a game they say they don't like.

The diversity of YouTuber focuses speaks to just how massive the game today. There are YouTubers such as Belton who share videos of themselves playing in various games; there's an array of YouTubers uploading tips and tricks, then there are those dedicated to playing Madden.

Last fall, a TV channel called SOFTDRINKTV posted a 14-minute video with the title "The Madden with the Worst Madden of All Time," which was followed with a 19-minute version titled "Madden NFL 22 isn't Good - Review." They re-enter the same spot recently with a video that was titled "Everything Wrong with Madden NFL 22 (in 16 minutes)." The narrative of that video begins in a memorable way or even a bit dramatically: "This is the kind of game that causes you to want to stick on your eyes with a thumbtack. When the game is Madden 22, the gift of life becomes one of the worst curses. The game will make you no longer want to live. It triggers existential dread."

As with any subculture, Madden has its own slang. Precise throws will be "lasers" (self-explanatory). Most throws are described as a "dot" which means it's "dotted up" that has somehow evolved from "dart" (less clear). Additionally, solid defensive coverage was once "bagged," though recently, I've heard YouTubers commenting on being "booked." This is the only one that makes sense I can think of is "mossing" someone else and that's when the receiver jumps over a corner to catch the ball from the air, inspired to Randy Moss.

However, the hatred for Madden is just as big a part of the culture, even if it is a bit sexy at times. The Reddit r/Madden is entirely "rants" about the reasons why the game sucks, usually only a short video clip of a glitch or bug. The tag #Madden22 on TikTok is a mix of highlights, equal parts calling out busted plays that EA ought to fix.

But, of course, if hate a video game so frequently, why continue playing it every year?

In the case of Andrew Belton, Madden earns him his money. The game has been played since 2005 Madden but, most importantly streaming on YouTub since last year's Madden. The channel has increased to the point that the channel earns money from it. Enough to afford to move out of his parents' place and to a home in Brooklyn. (He also sells ebooks using Madden tips via his Patreon and estimates that it contributes a third to his revenue.)

The idea behind trash-talking doesn't start with Belton. While he's most likely the most prominent person doing this for Madden on YouTube for Madden, trash-talk videos are also popular in other sports games like NBA 2K. (Another video game Belton hates: "I thought Madden was excruciating however, 2K actually has me in a state of anger... I can't play it; this is how angry it makes me.")

The channel Belton plays at least a couple of games per week. He throws those that are boring to post. Finding the best trash-talkers to play is a process of art. "I've noticed with these trash-talkers that the more rubbish they talkabout, the worse they play," Belton says. For good videos, he needs an opponent to both be a good player and be as obnoxious in the best way.

Outside of creating videos for buy mut 22 coins his YouTube channel, Belton rarely plays Madden to have fun. Much of his time is dedicated to editing. A game lasts under an hour, however editing that video can take eight hours.

He says he'd like to create a new channel that will allow him to play various games.
