NBA 2K7 actually marked the second straight year that Shaq was featured on the cover. It first happened in NBA 2K6. Allen Iverson and Shaq were the only two players to have multiple covers on their own at the time NBA 2K22 MT. The critical acclaim was overwhelmingly positive in regards to elements such as the soundtrack gameplay, presentation, and the soundtrack.
