Madden NFL 22 should follow the same game strategy as WWE 2K

The fact that we're seeing EA update Madden 21 this much, especially with regard to the single-player franchise mode, is atypical. It is a relief to see them trying to regain some of Madden 22 coins the confidence it lost with players due to what was widely believed to be a roster update rather than a real sequel when the game was released last year.

Madden NFL 21 just got its final roster update few days ago, however, fans of the series are already talking about Madden NFL 22. Derrick Henry is supposedly going to be the cover star for the next installment of the franchise. Although the news has got been a source of excitement, there's something hampering enthusiasm even among the most dedicated players of the long-running series. The series has seen people complain about each year's losses, than have they been applauded for. Electronic Arts might need to take a different approach. The most likely option for the franchise would be to take a year off. It could be shocking to gamers when the company makes the decision.

Madden NFL 21 received the final franchise update this week. This means that there will not be any major changes to the game aside from minor bug fixes as well as small changes. The attention now does indeed turn to the next installment for a lot of fans. Madden NFL 22 will be released by EA in approximately five months, provided that EA continues to move at its maximum speed. The company isn't yet out. While the identity of the cover player was revealed, Madden NFL 22's Henry or Madden NFL 22 haven't been officially released. The company hasn't yet confirmed if there's a cover athlete, or a Madden 22. Maybe it will take this to claim that there's not going to be one.

There's some precedent if EA had decided to put off and wait a year to prepare for Madden even though it's not likely. This isn't something that happens often. Most often, a game company doesn't want the train to stop once it's started on the "yearly releases" tracks. But with regards to Madden NFL 21 and the rest of the franchise, a break might be needed. There's been a lot of talk about how the game offers little more than a reskinning and buy Mut 22 coins roster updates, which cost the price of $70 per year.
