I mained glad once the game first came out. Glad excels in AoE and knockdowns, one of the DP skills is the AoE knockdown so that they are not bad for team pvp, or fort sieges, they can be aion classic kinah buying quite useful tactically. The extendable weapons are 100% the objective. They'll raise your reach a fair bit, which makes it so much harder to kite you. I conducted bakarma about 70 times I believe, and never needed the spear drop. Though I managed to acquire lannok's, which was extendable but not as good. If I am remembering correctly too, bakarma's spear does not have atk rate on it, and they didn't allow weapon blending until 1.9 (memory is rough of releases, but pretty sure that is accurate) so it might feel fairly slow compared to a previous weapon, that will probably possess atk speed.

So I think Lannok isn't that bad if you can't get the 19% ASpd from blending, since you can just switch to your knockdown if you actually need it.

Most played courses are appearing like cleric and gladiator right now followed with the 2 casters, at least according to the survey in the large Aion classic discord that was linked on this subreddit. This might be due to the fact that many of EU gamers are coming to NA classic, therefore lots of people are working to choose more ping-friendly classes.

Yeah and forget about playing Assassin or even Pvp generally (which is the best part of this game. 150+ ping no matter how good web you have. After all EU has many times more players playing and loving Aion, Gameforge only been shown to be more shit one more time.

There game has been running since November in Korea and there's no p2w cash shop for Aion Classic there. While it's entirely possible that there will be one at the NA version of the game, there's no evidence for it. Can it eventually alter? Sure. But every game could potentially add significant p2w at any point.

The streamer I watched said he understands people who buy the conflict pass along with levels on multiple accounts to get more of it. Buy tbh I'm really not thay bothered, so long as they don't make it too awful.
