Both games will draw inspiration from RuneScape's fantasy world, Gielinor. The games will feature the characters, adventures, and locales of the MMORPG has made famous over its lengthy history Cheap RS Gold. The board game can send one of five gamers on an journey through the lands of Gielinor.
Based on the release of Steamforged the Steamforged, players can "craft and upgrade their equipment upgrade their characters, make special dishes, communicate with NPCs and test their skills while exploring different parts of the world". Like the MMORPG, players will also come across side-quests to flesh out the game's world.
Meanwhile, the TTRPG will be comprised of an exquisitely illustrated book with all the information for players to run a RuneScape TTRPG. It will allow players to build their own characters, and then set off to the realm of Gielinor to create "unique and thrilling quests". Furthermore the TTRPG guidebook will be "fully compatible with the rules of fifth edition of the world's best tabletop role-playing game".
This is the first time RuneScape will be available on a non-digital platform and this is something Jagex Director of Operations Phil Mansell is excited about:
