Yeah there are some straight up death threats in there.

That being said I do Animal Crossing New Horizons Items want Skull Kid was at precisely the same quantity of demand today as he had been then. Zelda still has gotten no more meaningful representation, and Skull Kid remains the ideal choice to give the franchise it's much deserved new fighter--and he's been mostly forgotten in talks about new characters. Skull Kid will forever be my number one pick. I'd honestly be really pleased with Midna or Tetra too. Only SOMEONE to signify Zelda that is not a Triforce Trio incarnation.

I have a feeling that we're going to get BOTW Zelda, and while I do think that may be cool I'd be disappointed if Zelda's only meaningful representation because freaking MELEE are another Zelda.

I knew someone was gont say that, but essentially in my mind she is distinct enough from Zelda to where I'd be fine with it. Hell she is not even very"Zelda" until the last third of the game, and even in the end she goes straight back to her pirate roots. She feels different from Zelda is essentially what I'm getting at. Personality wise, design wise, everything is more Tetra than Zelda. Zelda is drastically underrepresented, which may be partly because of scarcity of recurring characters which aren't one of those big three, but involving Skull Kid, Impa, and Midna, there's definitely room for one more new character in the series.

I doubt it's the case, but I'd be legit angry if this turned out to be the justification. Fire Emblem and Final Fantasy swap out of their whole cast of characters every match (with only the occasional direct sequel), however they are still permitted multiple repetitions from the exact same game. Zelda has sooooo many one-game-only personalities that will still fit great into Smash, only look at the roster of both Hyrule Warriors animal crossing bells for sale.
