That's how I've purchased the Madden games I own. Hell the most recent NBA2K was on steam for Madden 21 coins like 92 percent off the other day. They do it the MUT players have to restart their collection every season. EA doesn't really change much with each Madden series. I Perform franchise, and I am honestly ok with older rosters. If Metacritic scores seems to bear significance to sales then they would care. Metacritic scores issue to publishers as soon as it gives them the chance to screw more than developers. Might make some stockholders ears perk up a bit, but I really don't see much besides that.
I know most individuals do not like sports games, but PC users get the brief end of the pole even with these shitty sports sport. This time NBA2K is not even releasing the next-gen basketball game on PC, just on the next-gen consoles. PC users are receiving exactly the same game with an updated roster with all the purchase price of a brand new game. There aren't any good sports games on PC. The shitty part is in their center sports games can be a good deal of fun. I actually really used to enjoy the career node in 2K before it turned into a microtransaction shit hole. Sports games got affected the most because of MTX. 2k is so greedy, they made the career mode online only. I'm glad I lost interest in sports games until mtx obtained incorporated. Got tired of paying to get a new title if I wanted a roster updates. Only lost interest in annual franchises in general. They certainly are amazing money makers, however, so the genre will always be exactly what it is.
The F1 games are fairly nice and superior on the PC. The biggest problem with them is they are essentially doing the exact same thing as Fifa. Some minor upgrades year to year and sadly it's sufficient for people to defend it (the additions are actually fun and bigger than Fifa, but do not justify a complete cost ) Picked up F1 2018 on Humble free lately. Saw F1 2020 gameplay, do not see why anybody would buy a new one. The old one works more or less absolutely fine. With F1 matches you can argue that the tech behind the cars gets changed yearly, so if you are full to the sim aspect - which it does pretty well - I guess it is worth it. It also adds offline features that's a blessing with most sports games forgetting about their livelihood manners and providing fuck all to buy Madden nfl 21 coins the offline gamers since they're not considering MTX.
